Ricardo Rodríguez Elías
Mexican designer based in Mexico City, known for his meticulous attention to detail and his continuous research into material properties and structural possibilities. His work spans architectural spaces, furniture, and objects, each crafted with a commitment to blending aesthetics, technique, and functionality. Ricardo’s design practice is marked by his ability to create spaces and pieces that are not only visually compelling but also highly practical, adaptable to contemporary needs, and infused with a timeless quality. His expertise in carpentry enriches his approach, allowing him to explore the full potential of materials and intricate joinery techniques. With extensive training and experience, Ricardo has mastered various processes in design and craftsmanship, establishing a unique voice within the field. His work has been showcased in national and international exhibitions, celebrated for its innovative approach and ability to push the boundaries of conventional design.
Pedro Cerisola
Mexican-Cuban designer known for his expertise in geometric modular structures and their application to the design of functional objects. He obtained his industrial design degree from Universidad Iberoamericana in 2004 and pursued a master’s in toy design at the Academy of Art University in San Francisco, California. Pedro’s design expertise have garnered global recognition, with his work displayed in prestigious museums such as the University Museum of Sciences UNIVERSUM, MODO (The Object Museum), the Museum Rufino Tamayo, the Museum of Modern Art in Mexico City, Museo Nacional de Antropología, the Franz Mayer Design Museum, Museo Universitario Contemporáneo de Arte MUAC, Matadero Madrid, and Fuori Salone in Milan.
Pedro’s dedication to his craft is evident in his extensive experience as a chair professor at Universidad de Diseño Inovación y Tecnología UDIT in Madrid, as well as at the Instituto Tecnológico de Estudios Superiores de Monterrey in Mexico City. In 2012, he founded Canica Toy Lab, where he served as design director, and the collections have since been integrated into Estudio Cerisola’s, of which he is the current director.

His work demonstrates a keen attention to detail and a passion for creative problem-solving, resulting in exceptional quality pieces that push the boundaries of contemporary design.
